We are nestled in the rolling hills of Scomigo, a small hamlet in the municipality of Conegliano.
Here, we chose to breathe new life into what was once a welcoming country house — a place that, since the early 1900s, has hosted generations of families, along with their stories, traditions, and ways of life, all while preserving its deepest identity.
Today, the house offers eight refined rooms, each with a breathtaking panoramic view.In restoring the house, we were guided by a deep desire to preserve and protect the beauty that was already here.
Our vision was to celebrate local craftsmanship and heritage — enhancing original features and integrating the work of artists and artisans from the region. Through their hands and their stories, they have brought new life and energy to this place, creating a harmonious blend of history, art, and authenticity.
A haven of relaxation and wellbeing
Our home is a welcoming retreat — a place to unwind, read a good book, and take in the quiet beauty of the surrounding nature. Here, mind and body find rest, embraced by greenery and serenity. It’s a space of peace and inspiration, where time slows — perhaps savouring a glass of wine in hand.
Majestic trees, flowers, and aromatic herbs
Imagine our garden as a peaceful oasis, designed as a place for relaxation and contemplation, with shaded areas, winding paths, and places to sit and enjoy nature. In our home, you will also find a wellness area equipped with a sauna, Turkish bath, and sensory shower. Two whirlpool tubs are located outdoors, surrounded by a lush and blooming garden.
All’ombra dell’antica quercia
La natura è la nostra ispiratrice, è lei ad indicarci la via in un flusso continuo di energia, per questo abbiamo deciso molti anni fa di coltivare la vite e fare vino secondo i principi dell’agricoltura biologica e biodinamica.
L’Antica Quercia è un’azienda agricola a corpo unico di trenta ettari, dove protetti da due querce secolari, si alternano vigne, ulivi e piante di melagrano.
La Ghiandaia è a pochi passi dalla cantina, camminando attraverso i vigneti si percorre una strada bianca dove tra le Querce ed un piccolo laghetto nel fondovalle, antico ristoro per aironi e altri uccelli migratori, si può godere dell’abbraccio della natura.
Rooms
Eight rooms, all with panoramic views. Two superior suites feature a sitting area and king-size bed — one with a whirlpool tub, the other with a private sauna. Three suites offer a comfortable sitting area and king-size bed, and three deluxe rooms are furnished with queen-size beds. Some rooms also have a sofa bed.
Wellness area
The wellness area includes a sauna, Turkish bath, and sensory shower. Outdoors, there are two whirlpool tubs and a relaxation area surrounded by greenery. Access is by reservation only. The area is open in the afternoon from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Library
A relaxation room with a well-stocked library, comfortable sofas, and seating areas for a quiet moment or social time. Equipped with an Honesty Bar — a self-service bar.
Outdoors
La Ghiandaia is surrounded by a beautiful park. We invite all guests to immerse themselves in its pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, discovering the many varieties of flowers, aromatic herbs, and plants that grow here.
Breakfast
We offer a sweet and savory breakfast featuring typical local and homemade products, with a selection of dishes and beverages prepared fresh on the spot. If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please let us know — we will do our best to provide suitable alternatives.
Pets
We are pleased to welcome small pets in select rooms, subject to prior notice. Please be advised that pets are not allowed in the pool area or in the wellness center. In all common areas, pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
Parking
Each room includes a reserved parking space in our covered garage, accessible exclusively with your booking code.
For guests driving electric vehicles, two charging stations are available for a fee.
Wine tastings
During your stay, we would be delighted to welcome you to L’Antica Quercia for a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar, followed by a tasting of the wines produced by our estate. Wine tastings can also be paired with a selection of carefully chosen local products.
